123-Talk is a video game in the educational genre developed by Creative Educational Software Inc. originally released in 1993. It is currently playable on DOS.
23-Talk is a shareware, single-player, educational game package whose distinguishing feature is that it provides audio feedback and encouragement to the learner.
The package consists of the following mini-games:Keyboard Banger 123: When the child presses the keypad, the digit appears in the center of the screen and the game says 'Try to say this number . . . . . . . . ', then the pattern is erased and a new one is drawn using a new digit.
Song 123: Numbers from one to twenty are shown on the screen and the child sings them in sequence.
Your Phone Number Is: Displays a phone number by enunciating each digit so that the student learns to say the number and recognize it. In the shareware version it is limited to a single U. S. style number of the form 123-1234. This game also teaches the child the number to dial in case of emergency, which is set as 911. The phone number can be edited in the Parental Control section, but the 911 number cannot.
Find the number game: The game displays a digit on the screen and asks the student to find that number on the keypad.
Easy counting game: The game displays colored balloons on the screen and asks the student 'How many balloons?'. The student responds by pressing the corresponding number on the keyboard and the game asks the same question with another number of balloons.
Addition game: The game asks simple sums such as 'How much does 3 + 2 add up to?'. The student is aided by the display of two groups of balloons, three on one and two on the other. They respond and the game moves on to another question.
Subtraction game: The same as the addition game, but it is about take-away sums.
Easy Draw II: This is a purely playful game. The playing area becomes a blackboard and the player can draw on it by holding down the left mouse button and moving the mouse. The right mouse button changes the color of the chalk. All games are played with the mouse. There are simple sound effects and lots of voice of a very American and supportive lady.
