A 320

A 320 is a video game in the simulation genre developed by Loriciels and published by Loriciels originally released in 1988. It is currently playable on Amstrad CPC.

I parked the car near the entrance to the airport terminal. The weather looks good. The flight is in a few hours, so there's time to prepare for take-off. .

In this game, you are a regular pilot of an Airbus 'A 320' and suddenly you are involved in a terrorist act of pirates. The plot is divided into three parts: two point-and-click adventure phases, one at the airport and one on a terrorist island, and a simple flight simulator phase in between.

The real-time adventure phase at the airport involves moving from one location to another, interacting with people and objects, and getting information about the different radio channels, frequencies, number of routes and takeoff times at each game location.

After sitting in the cockpit, the game starts the flight simulator. You must take off, activate the radio and receive the first radio transmission from the pirates, they will inform you of the action you must take or the airbus will explode. Finally they will guide your airbus with passengers to the pirates' island and you must land there.

In the real time adventure on the island, you must find the pirates' house, enter it and defeat the pirate mastermind with your weapon.

The game is played from a first-person perspective, in which the player moves the on-screen cursor to a specific location, picks up, uses and manipulates objects, and talks to the characters. The characters are originally real actors, but are slightly digitized, as are the environments in general. The game progresses in real time, and a special area of the screen shows the current position of the terrorist (parallel in time to himself), which cannot be seen until a certain point is reached.

The game is played by a single player and was originally created in French.
