Description A Change in the Weather
A well-deserved winner of the first IF contest, Inform devision, in 1995.
A Change in the Weather is a clever and very atmospheric game that starts with a deceptively simple premise: you get caught in the rain. As Baf's review notes:This is a tricky little game, made of weather-sensitive parts intertwined with ample opportunity to get things irrevocably wrong. It consists of two acts, one before and one during the all-important downpour that transforms the landscape. Well-polished prose. Excellent tension building. Strange and twisted map. Very satisfying'.
Highly recommended for all IF fans, although beginners might find the difficult puzzles too daunting.
