Ack-Ack Attack!

Ack-Ack Attack! is a video game in the action genre developed by PLBM Games originally released in 1995. It is currently playable on DOS.

The object of the game is to destroy as many helicopters and paratroopers as possible. If a parachutist lands on the ground, he can be hit by flying debris, by another parachutist free falling on him or by your gravity projectiles.

There are three levels of play: Easy, Hard and Crazy. You can select the level of play before the game starts.

The game also keeps track of your statistics, how many shots you have fired, how many hits, how many helicopters and troops have been hit, etc.

Note that you have until the START of the next sortie to try to kill the troops on the ground, using the [G]ravity-bound shells, or by dropping flaming debris on them. When the next sortie starts, if there are more than four (4) troops landed on either side of your base, the game will end.

Ack-Ack Attack is written in C and assembly language, and has been optimized to the maximum. However, on some older systems performance may deteriorate when there are many shapes moving on the screen.
