AD Infinitum

AD Infinitum is a video game in the action genre developed by Mr Chip Software and published by Mr Chip Software originally released in 1984. It is currently playable on Commodore 64.

AD Infinitum is a side view single screen shooter in which you control a spaceship that can move around the screen in various directions, destroying waves of aliens in 256 levels. Each wave of aliens appears from various locations on the screen and drops bombs as it moves and if you are hit by a bomb or alien then you lose one of six lives, but you have six continues to use when you run out of lives. As you fire your weapon, a gauge increases showing that it is overheating and if the gauge fills up, you also lose a life. As you move and shoot around the screen a fuel gauge also decreases and when it empties you also lose a life, but you can tap the fireballs to increase them. They appear when an asteroid storm moves across the screen and you also have to avoid them. After so many levels, your mothership appears at the top of the screen and you must dock with it to receive a fuel bonus. Up to four players can play and each player takes turns when the other players have lost a life.
