Air Diver

Air Diver is a video game in the action genre developed by Copya System Ltd. and published by Seismic Software Inc. originally released in 1990. It is currently playable on Genesis.

A terrorist organization led by a fanatic operating out of the Middle East has assembled a military force capable of holding the entire world hostage, backed by a host of evil governments. The player has to board an F-119 stealth fighter and go unnoticed while eliminating all opposition.

While technically boarding a stealth fighter, there are no stealth elements involved. After choosing one of the various locations on the map, the player is shown flying from a first-person cockpit perspective and enemies seem to have no trouble locating the player's aircraft. In the different solo missions, the player has to eliminate all opponents using normal bullets and lock-on missiles. All statistics, including time remaining before running out of fuel and enemies on radar, are displayed on the cockpit HUD. The ship can move left and right, and use a boost to make sideways turns or complete loops to get behind enemies. Some shots can be fired, which cause body damage, but incoming missiles are usually deadly and must be shot or avoided. In addition to normal enemies, there are also a few aerial bosses. Missions take place all over the world during different times of the day.
