Alcatraz

Alcatraz is a video game in the action genre developed by 221B Software Development and published by Infogrames Europe SA originally released in 1992. It is currently playable on DOS, Amiga, Atari ST.

A drug baron took over the prison of Alcatraz and now the player takes the role of a U. S. Navy Seal to enter and neutralize him. He has two hours to complete his objectives in three buildings and needs to survive two different styles of gameplay: side-scrolling fighting in the streets and first-person shooting inside.

Outside, the goal is to get to the building where you need to complete the objectives. Of course, the baron's thugs are not very happy and try to kill the hero, so the hero has to shoot back with many different weapons, such as flamethrowers, machine guns, bombs and other destructive or melee weapons, which can be picked up from dead enemies. As in Hostage: Rescue Mission, you can also hide in the background in certain locations.

Once inside a building, the game switches to a first-person view, in which the player has to navigate a maze to reach his objective, for example, retrieving evidence. A radar and a rifle are at his disposal.
