Description Alge-Blaster 3
Alge-Blaster 3 is the third game in the Alge-Blaster series after Alge-Blaster Plus! from 1989. This version has as its main theme the protection of a planet from aliens and consists of four different activities:Challenger is a combination of the learning and practice activities of the previous games. It consists of four components: a video board that explains a problem visually, a text version of the same problem, a practice area, and a word problem area that shows how to translate words into math facts. Decoder is based on the Alge-Blaster Plus translation activity, but here each correct answer reveals an image that is part of a rebus. Once all the images have been discovered, the player has to figure out the correct mathematical word and select it from a list. The simulator is based on the graphics and game activities of Alge-Blaster Plus. In the point variant the player has to click on the aliens in a grid that correspond to the correct coordinates. In the slope variant the player has to use the slope information to shoot lasers at the aliens. Red Alert is similar to Missile Command and the player has to protect cities on the surface of a planet by shooting aliens that appear from above.
