Anarchy

Anarchy is a video game in the action genre and published by Rack-It originally released in 1987. It is currently playable on Commodore 64, Amstrad CPC.

Inside an Ace Mk2 Interceptor tank, you have been assigned a dangerous 16-stage mission. You must travel to the overrun planet of Sentinel 4, and destroy the weapons caches that the rebels have amassed. You can't destroy them when you're right next to them, which means that a certain amount of planning and strategy is required.

Viewed from above in simple side-scrolling levels, the objective in each level is to shoot each of the weapon crates, before traversing the newly opened exit. You have to avoid the guard droids, but by shooting them you can make them idle for a short period of time, and now you can shoot or hit them to push them in that direction, which can be used strategically to make more paths available. There is a 2 minute time limit on each level. Every 5 levels there is a nuke guarded by an enemy seeker droid, which follows you continuously.
