In Anarchy Zone the player controls a spaceship on a fixed screen (called Anarchy Zone) to shoot enemies, such as solid balls, fuzzy balls, eyeballs, peace symbols, televisions, flushes, and toilets. The spaceship can move left or right, but rotates 360 degrees around the entire screen. The behavior of the enemies varies. Some fly in the center of the screen, some stand in the corners, and others try to collide with the player's ship. Enemies fire bombs that must be avoided, because each hit decreases the power of the spaceship. To get the skill bonus in a zone you have to eliminate all the enemies on the screen within a certain time. There are 33 zones in the game. Each of them can be accessed with a four-digit code. The high scores of the best anarchists are stored in a Top 8 table.
