Another Day at Work: Wednesday is a graphical adventure game released in 1999 that puts you in the shoes of an office worker as they try to make the best of a frustratingly amusing 9-5 job. Despite the tedious environment, there’s so much to do! Your goal is to figure out how to get through the day unscathed, trying to unlock secrets and find hidden items.

Created by Italian developer Monte Cristo, this game celebrates the weird and mundane details of the office experience. Featuring a captivating storyline, familiar characters, and a realistically designed office, it feels like you’re almost stuck in the office. Humorous dialogue, puzzles, and task management create a stimulating atmosphere as you progress your way through the game.

The attention to detail pays off in the quality of the game's visuals. Its highly realistic graphics bring the office to life, accurately portraying the age of the technology used. But don't get too wrapped up enjoying the scenery, as every step you take forwards puts you closer to the end of the day. Your first challenge is to figure out how to bring the lethargic characters to life, as they still lack the enthusiasm for the tasks they’re given.

Time is your enemy, but it’s the only way you’ll move forward in the game. Working with time itself becomes the puzzle - as in real life, you’ve only got a finite amount of it but you can use it to your advantage. Every action takes time, so you must figure out ways to make the most of what you have. It’s up to you conquer the tasks given while making sure you don’t run into the end of the day too soon, which is easier said than done.

All the risks and strategies you took to finish the day off work together to make the final outcome a rewarding experience. With magnificent graphics, and a captivating storyline, you're sure to get lost in all of the fascinating details that Another Day at Work: Wednesday has to offer.
