Assault Course: Combat Academy allows you to attempt to complete several assault courses in a time of 2 minutes for each course. The game is viewed sideways and the screen scrolls from left to right as you move your man. To move your man you must move the joystick and release it and press the fire button at the right time for each obstacle, if you miss an obstacle then you must try again losing valuable seconds. There are six obstacles to attempt which vary in number on each course. The obstacles are a high wall to climb, a water jump, a rope bridge to hang from over water, a barbed wire to go under, a rope swing over water and a log to cross slowly. Once you complete a course within the time limit, you will move on to the next one, but if you fail the course, you will lose one of the three lives.
