Description Astro3D II
Astro3D II is a sequel to Astro3D. It features a very similar game mechanic in which players control a spaceship and must collect useful found objects while destroying various types of debris and enemy ships. However, unlike its predecessor, which had only 12 levels, Astro3D II allows players to generate an infinite number of levels to complete.
The storyline follows that of the previous game. The player becomes the same astronaut who worked in Astro3D. The Earth Federation again requires his services for the exploration of the infinite expanse and its resources. The player must enter sector after sector of the infinite expanse, destroying asteroids and extracting the precious columbite ore to bring it back to Earth. The same ore can be used as fuel for the ships during the mission.
