Atari Karts is a video game in the racing / driving genre developed by Miracle Designs and published by Atari Corporation originally released in 1995. It is currently playable on Jaguar.
Atari Karts is a kart racing game with characters. It plays very similarly to Super Mario Kart. In this game, as in most karting games, the emphasis is on using objects around the track to knock down your opponents.
There is only one game mode, which is a points-based cup series. There are four difficulty levels, each with three cups to win. Once you have completed all the cups in each difficulty level, you can challenge a kart named 'Boss' to a single race. Once the boss is defeated, it will appear as a playable character. Cup battles can be played in single and two-player split-screen modes.
