Description Atari Video Cube

In this game, you control Marvin, the Cube Master, who moves Marvin around a hexahedral cube with nine squares on each side, the objective being to move all nine faces to a color in the shortest time or number of moves.

Marvin stands on a square and changes the color of the square by pressing the fire button. Marvin will change the color of the space to the color he is on; Marvin cannot move to a space of the same color as you.

To rotate the cube, simply move to the edge and press the joystick in the direction you want it to rotate.

Variations of the game include normal speed, fast speed, race against the clock and minimum number of moves. There is also a variant in which all the spaces are blackened except when the cube is rotating, making it impossible to tell which color it is in; two game variations (Race Against the Clock and Minimum Number of Moves Challenge) limit the rotation to the top and right only, but the spaces are not blackened.

Eight game variations are played by the computer.
