You and your grandfather have just invested your life savings in buying a small farm of a few acres to grow vegetables and raise horses, a place to get away from the battle of city life. But you discover that the whole farm is full of things that are determined to take you away.
Barnyard Blaster is a shooting gallery type game for use with the Atari XG-1 light gun or joystick. Your objective is to rid your farm of vermin by shooting targets in each of three levels. Between each level you will play the Gramps bonus screen, where you can brush up on your aim. But in order to pass each level, you must reach a certain percentage of shooting accuracy. At the end of the game you are given a ranking depending on how well you did.
