Description Barrage

Barrage is an artillery game for two players taking turns at the same computer. Each player controls a cannon and has to fire shells at the other. In each battle there are 100 men on each side and the objective is to kill all the enemy's men. On the screen there are also two cities to avoid, as hitting them incurs penalties. The landscape is generated for each new game and during the game is redrawn as shots create craters in the ground.

The game is controlled with the keyboard and each player has to enter values for the angle and speed of the shot taking into account wind speed and direction. Players with more than 35 men in the army will also have to set a delta angle and speed that decides whether the shots will be dispersed or in a tight group. The number of shots depends on the number of men the player has left.
