Binky

Binky is a video game in the action genre and published by Software Projects Ltd. originally released in 1985. It is currently playable on Amstrad CPC.

Binky the painter has gotten the job to paint the floors of a 21-story building in the city. Other painting companies have given up the job as unsafe, but Binky has no such concern and accepts the job despite all its dangers. Each level in the game is a floor of the building viewed from an isometric perspective. The goal is simply to paint the entire floor, which is done automatically as Binky moves across it. Since the floors float in mid-air, it's possible for you to go off the edge of the floor and fall to certain death if you're not careful. There are also several nasty creatures that Binky has to watch out for. These will suddenly appear on the ground and move in one direction until they reach Binky or fall off the ground. There are also beasts that move directly towards Binky, but you can kill them if you step on them before they pop out. There are also balls that roll on the ground. Later levels need two or three coats of paint and require Binky to move through them several times.
