Blade Runner is a video game in the action genre developed by CRL Group PLC and published by CRL Group PLC originally released in 1985. It is currently playable on Commodore 64, Amstrad CPC.
Based on the movie of the same name. The police have assigned you the task of locating and eliminating the Replidroids that have landed on Earth. There are six types of Replidroids, labeled Replidroid 1 to 6. The higher the number, the more intelligent they are.
Most of the game is viewed from inside your skimmer, and inside there are three screens to pay attention to. The main screen shows a radar view of your area, allowing you to navigate the streets in search of replidroids (which are represented by octagons with crosses inside). To the right is a smaller screen showing the entire city and your position in relation to the replidoids. Underneath is a text informing you of the number and type of replidoids in the vicinity.
On the main screen, your position is represented by a yellow cursor with which you can navigate through the streets. If you find a replidoid, you can pass over it and press the fire button. By doing so, you will enter the chase mode, in which you will automatically land.
After exiting, you will have to chase the replidoid on a busy street. There is a scanner that you can use to find out where it is. The replidoid is represented as a green square. The further you advance, the closer you will get to it. If the replidoid goes out of range, your skimmer automatically picks it up and you have to look for it somewhere else. Once you reach it, you must match your position with theirs and shoot them to get the reward that appears in the status bar. Your scanner also shows approaching traffic that you must avoid. What it does not show, however, is the people you must dodge. If you collide with people, the game ends.
