This 3D puzzle game stars an amorphous blue creature, and presents you with a top view world in which the character is closest to you when he is near the top of the level. There are a series of blocks suspended in space, and the player bounces around them trying to reach the exit, having first completed the level's objectives. These include painting certain blocks a la QBert, collecting items and rescuing other Blobs by guiding them to the exit.
Other types of blocks include blocks that shoot at you, cracked tiles that don't last long, sticky tiles that you can't pry much off of, and switches that make other blocks visible or accessible. 3D is an integral aspect of the game, as falling off ledges into oblivion results in the loss of a life.
