Description Block-O-Mania

Block-O-Mania is an excellent Soko-Ban style game from Cassiopeia, a now defunct shareware developer based in the Netherlands.

The object of the game is to push all the blocks into the correct stores: reds to reds, greens to greens, and blues to blues. Naturally, your job is more complicated than it looks because there are walls and other obstacles in your way. Block-O-Mania is best described as 'Soko-Ban for experts'. The difficulty level ramps up very quickly after the first few levels, and if you're not a regular puzzle player, you may find yourself stuck as early as level 3. Your progress will be hindered by unique arrows, unique passages that turn into solid walls after traversing them, and many other convoluted traps.

Like Soko-Ban, Block-O-Mania rewards meticulous and thorough planning. You'll probably have to restart most levels several times before you get it right, but you'll feel pleased with yourself once you do. This is definitely one of the best puzzle games I've come across, Soko-Ban or not, and will keep puzzle fans busy for hours on end. You can even design your own levels in the registered version, which is the one you can download here. Highly recommended.
