Description Boovie

Boovie is a remake of the 1994 ZX Spectrum game of the same name. It was released the same year as the Spectrum sequel Boovie 2. The game consists of a series of single-screen platformer levels in which you must complete a sequence of actions to progress. This involves shooting and avoiding enemies, destroying blocks and moving them. To complete a level you need to transport a specific brick to the tile marked with an arrow. Boovie is the main character and can move freely. Instead of a pure platformer with jumping, he can move around any square on the game screen as long as it is not obstructed, as if floating in the air.

The plot has Boovie rescue his wife Lili, who has been kidnapped. The couple were living happily on the outskirts of a town until a wealthy person decides to build a large mansion next to their house. When all the bricks have been used in the construction, the foreman discovers that only one brick is missing to complete the base of the bathroom. He kidnaps Lili and demands that one brick as ransom.
