Description Brainstorm

Brainstorm is a game in which the goal is to get a high enough score on a screen to beat the score you received on the last screen you played when a timer reaches zero. The screen consists of a large square that is displayed all over the screen filled with different colored shapes with a bouncing ball. You have to draw lines to bounce the ball inside the red shapes while avoiding the magenta ones, which increases or decreases your score when the ball is inside the shape. Green shapes make the ball appear elsewhere on the screen, and blue and black shapes have no effect.

Next to the main playing area is a box with your score, the last score, the timer and three colored lines. The colors of the lines are cyan, yellow and white, and you must select one to start drawing your lines. Press the fire button in the play area and a line will appear from a small line that matches the color and will be drawn to where you pressed the fire button. The ball will bounce on the line you just drew, hopefully hitting the red shapes. You can also make a line change direction, but the line can only be a certain length before the start of the line disappears.

Once the timer reaches zero and you beat the score of the last screen, you move on to the next screen, but it's game over if the score is lower. There are three skill levels to choose from, allowing you to draw more than one line on the screen and even have two balls to deal with. You can also choose to start from every 6th screen out of 26 screens. You can select joystick or keyboard.
