Description Bridge Master

Bridge Master, released in 1982 for the Atari 8-bit family of computers, was a unique and innovative game for its time. It was the very first of its kind—a card game simulator that could be enjoyed by computer players at home.

The game was quite complex, as it had two levels of difficulty, and a number of different strategies. Players could compete against the computer, or with up to three other human players. Its graphics were advanced for the era, with varying backgrounds and detailed card faces.

The game play itself was challenging and enjoyable. Players were dealt a random hand of cards, and then had to bid and play out the game. The computer-controlled opponents were quite smart, and the game adapts to the players' skill level, so it is suitable for both beginners and experienced players.

Bridge Master remains a popular choice among bridge simulation games today. It was developed by Howard Kistler, who was also responsible for several other classic games such as Pitfall, Keystone Kapers, and Space Shuttle: A Journey Into Space. It is a great reminder of the early days of computer gaming, and a fun way to learn the strategy and techniques of the classic game of bridge.
