Bubsy is back! After defeating the evil Woolies in the first game, Bubsy, the brave bob cat, has to take part in an even more dangerous adventure: exploring a mysterious hyperdimensional mansion, inside which there are portals leading to different areas in different places and times.
As in the Sonic games, Bubsy moves very fast and can also jump very high. Bubsy kills enemies by jumping on their heads. The levels are large and can be accessed from the beginning of the game (except for the final level), starting in the west or east wing. There are five normal level types: Egyptian pyramid, sci-fi space environment, a world full of musical instruments and notes, a 'green' level with trees and hills, and a group of side-scrolling levels in which Bubsy has to navigate an airplane.
