Bug Mania is a video game in the racing / driving genre developed by PLAY Sp. z o.o. and published by Mindscape France originally released in 2007. It is currently playable on Windows.
Bug Maniais a racing game in which only Volkswagen Beetles are used. The graphics are based on the 2 Fast Driver engine.
There are two game modes: event mode and single race. In event mode, players take turns to drive on the 34 prepared tracks and unlock the first place.
In the single race, players can choose any of the 34 tracks and race any of the 8 cars. The cars are Standard, Cooler Bug, Sand Bug, Razor Bug, Killer Bee, Cabrio Bug, Beach Bug and Bat Bug, with speeds ranging from 50 to 85 km/h (30 to 85 mph). Each vehicle is also available in two sets of colors, allowing players to choose their favorite color.
The game is controlled with the keyboard and offers four camera angles: two behind the car, a hood camera and a TV camera.
