Description Bust-A-Move
Bust-A-Move is an unofficial conversion of the classic puzzle game. Based on the SNES version, it copies many of its modes and levels, but also lacks some elements.
The basic gameplay is the same as in other versions: the player controls a cannon at the bottom of the screen that shoots random colored bubbles. The goal is to shoot the bubbles so that they connect with other bubbles of the same color. Once three or more of the same color touch, they are eliminated. The ceiling of the playing area continuously descends. The game is lost if any bubble reaches the bottom and is won once all bubbles are removed.
The single-player puzzle mode consists of 90 puzzles. Many of the levels are direct adaptations from the SNES, but without any of the special bubbles such as explosive or lightning bubbles. There are also no bonuses for completing the level quickly or for dropping many bubbles at once. A password function allows you to continue from the last level played.
There is also a versus mode that can be played against the AI (with six difficulty levels) or against a second player. The goal is to clear the bubble field first or make the other player fail. By successfully clearing the bubbles, additional bubbles are sent to the other player.
Finally, there is the challenge mode. In this endless mode, instead of the ceiling moving to the bottom, more bubbles are constantly refilled from the top. There is no way to win: you play for the highest score.
