Description Carousel

Carousel is a clone of the arcade game Carnival which is an amusement park themed fixed screen shoot 'em up. The player controls a gun at the bottom of the screen and has to shoot targets that move back and forth above him in three rows. The player has a limited amount of bullets and when he runs out, the game ends. The targets consist of three different animals: ducks, rabbits and owls, as well as the letters of the word BONUS. If you hit the letters in the correct order, you get a bonus score for each of them. The ducks are special, as they can swoop down towards the player and the player has to shoot them before they land or else lose bullets.

In addition to the targets, there is a spinning wheel at the top of the screen that you have to shoot all of its spokes to complete the level. Once everything on the screen has been shot, the player moves on to a bonus round in which a polar bear appears. It will move around the screen and the player has to shoot it as many times as possible. For each hit, the bear reverses its direction and increases its speed until it escapes and the player moves on to the next level.
