Long ago there was an old magician who created a talisman containing five precious stones. The talisman brought prosperity to the land and its inhabitants and all combined gave much power. Then the dark lord tricked the wizard with his evil and stole the talisman. He used it to summon hordes of evil creatures. The gems were hidden in five castles and now it is your mission to retrieve them and save the world.
Castle Kingdoms is an isometric action game. You control a party of five adventurers (a knight, a princess, a warrior, an elf and a wizard) and must fight your way through five evil castles. You control one character at a time and the others will follow you. As you play you will find objects that make the fight easier, such as health and shield potions and scrolls of different types.
