Description Catalypse

Catalypse is a horizontal scrolling shoot'em up in which you guide your ship against the alien civilization CLIO through five large levels, including a moon base, an alien forest, dark caverns and an ancient city.

The levels are filled with small enemies, both stationary and moving. There are also larger mid-level creatures and, of course, end-of-level guardians. These include giant creatures that fill the screen, robots and spaceships.

On your way you can collect cumulative weapon power-ups hidden in capsules. You have angled forward shots, a backward shot, an angled bouncing laser, a powerful forward laser and even two floating, indestructible satellites.

Unique game features include a sampled speech in the intro and an extensive animated ending sequence.
