Description Center Court
This tennis game was written in the well-known Blitz Basic programming language. It features a full career mode, in which the player you create starts at the bottom of a ladder of 100 players (including such stars of the era as Sampras, Edberg and Stich), and adjusts his or her skills (in areas such as serve, forehand and lob) using a small amount of points. The game season features a series of tournaments, from Grand Slam events to ordianry tour events with a limited field, and it is these that you have the opportunity to enter at the start. The game is viewed from above and slightly behind the court, a view that will be familiar to anyone who has played a Pro Tennis Tour AKA Great Courts game. Grass, clay, hard and indoor courts are offered, and 1- or 2-player singles matches can be played to 1,3 or 5 sets.
