Description Checkers
Checkers is a shareware implementation of the traditional single player board game.
It is played entirely through the keyboard and has functions to change the color of the pieces, the board and to print the moves made in the game.
The piece selection in this game is unusual, the rows and columns are numbered and the player selects the column of the piece he wishes to move. The game then chooses the piece from that column that can be moved and repeatedly displays it first in its current position and then in its new position. If this is the move the player wishes to make, press ENTER to confirm. If it is not, use the up/down arrows to select a different target square or a different piece.
This game does not recognize quadruple jumps.
