Zigmund has messed up his job by placing the wrong cobblestones in four levels, so you, Howard the Robot, are tasked with placing the cobblestones and cleaning up the mess left by Zigmund. In this maze game in which the screen scrolls as you move Howard, you must find the places that require cobblestones and place them while avoiding the various creatures that move through each level. Doors block routes and you must collect keys to open them, but you can only carry one item at a time and this includes rollers that crush spiders. As you lie down and collect you have to move between levels using the stairs to get, for example, a key to use on a door on another level. If you are touched by any creature you lose one of the five lives but you can shoot bullets at them to kill them.
