Cruncher in Mazeland

Cruncher in Mazeland is a video game in the action genre developed by 123-D Software, Inc. and published by Greenstreet Software Ltd. originally released in 2002. It is currently playable on Windows.

The object of the game is to guide the mechanical excavator 'cruncher' through the maze while eating pellets to obtain a high score. Points are awarded for each pellet eaten, as well as when the cruncher encounters obstacles and is ejected from the maze, and for keys collected. Some of the pellets can only be reached by jumping. There are robot enemies in the maze. If you encounter a robot after eating a power pellet, you will be defeated and get more points, but if you don't eat a power pellet, you will consume a life. You lose 3 lives and the game is over. There are three worlds, 'Wild World', 'Fantasyland' and 'Mystic Maze', each with its own set of levels.

The game has sound effects and music, both of which can be turned off, and a high score table. The game is played with the keyboard, with the arrow keys to move the character and the space bar to make him jump.
