Description Cuban Missile Crisis: Ice Crusade
Ice Crusade is a standalone sequel to the post-nuclear real-time strategy Cuban Missile Crisis: The Aftermath by G5 software.
It is 1967, five years have passed since the Cuban Missile Crisis, which turned into a short-lived nuclear war. Most of the world's cities and military bases are in radioactive ruins. Global cooling has made most of the United States, Australia and southern Africa uninhabitable and American forces have been forced to move south and now the Soviet army has the opportunity to break through the Arctic ice and attack the enemy on their territory.
The player can choose between the U.S. or Soviet Union campaigns, with a total of 25 missions. There are 22 new units, such as the T-60 and Hunter tanks, and two super units: The Convair Model 49 helicopter and the 240 mm Tyulpan self-propelled mortar.
