Cybertron Mission

Cybertron Mission is a video game in the action genre and published by Micro Power Ltd originally released in 1984. It is currently playable on Commodore 64, BBC Micro, Electron.

Cybertron Mission is a top-down game in which the player explores a maze of rooms to find various randomly placed objects. Once found, touching a safe ends the level and starts the next one. Movement and shooting are eight directions. Touching a wall causes instant death by electrocution. Enemies spawn in random positions when you enter a room. If you stay too long in a room, the 'Spook' appears, a fast-moving creature that runs through walls, but can be temporarily stunned with gunfire.

Each level is a maze of 4x4 rooms. On the first level, one item is needed and the player only faces slow-moving 'Spinners'. In the second level, two objects are needed and unpredictable 'Clones' are added, which shoot back. In the third level, three objects are needed and the 'Cyberdroid' is introduced. The player starts with five lives and receives an extra life at regular score intervals, by reaching a new level and by collecting a potion.
