Deadenders is a text adventure game with graphics.
In the UK there is a BBC soap opera called 'Eastenders' which is about the lives of ordinary London people living in Walford's Albert Square. This game is a parody of that TV series and takes many of its names from the original. Albert Square becomes Herbert Square, Dirty den Watts becomes Dirty Dan, and so on.
The story is about Effi, who has lost her little Willie. The player takes the role of agent Donald 'Dirty' Dance who must investigate Herbert Square and its residents to solve the mystery.
In this game there are no player aids such as command lists or command icons. All instructions must be written out in full.
