Description Despatch Rider
Despatch Rider is a side-scrolling arcade game. The player's goal is to earn as much money as possible in twelve hours (from 7:00 to 19:00) by picking up packages in a part of the city and delivering them to the final customer. The main screen is divided into a map of the whole city with current weather, road window and indicator panel (money earned, remaining time, remaining fuel). Rainy weather can affect brake performance, so speed must be adjusted to road conditions. The player can refuel at one of four gas stations for a fee. The gas stations only appear for two seconds in each game. Crashing the motorcycle into a curb means the loss of 30 minutes, crashing into a container means the loss of a package. To pick up packages that fall from the window, you must catch them before they hit the ground. The package is delivered by throwing it through the open doors.
