The Immortals of Terra: A Perry Rhodan Adventure is set in Perry Versum, a huge science fiction world conceived in 1960 and developed over 2,400 novels.
The protagonist is Perry Rhodan, the immortal emperor of Earth, and the game is set in third person. The game begins in the year 4394 A. D. when Perry's girlfriend, Mondra Diamond, is kidnapped by unidentified enemy agents during a violent intergalactic attack on the Residence, the headquarters of the immortals. Perry is determined to get to the bottom of the incident, uncover the nefarious plans of the mysterious enemy and free Mondra.
The game is a classic point-and-click adventure with 2D backgrounds and pixel-shaded 3D characters. The game features an interactive icon inventory system that includes not only collected items, but also story-relevant concepts (stakeholders, things learned, things seen). These icons can be used during conversations or to solve puzzles.
The game has five chapters, each set on a unique planet.
