Bridge 7.0

DOS 1992
The seventh release of the longest continuously published bridge games for PC, Bridge 7.0 by Artworx is a powerful bridge program that focuses exclusively on the bidding part of the game: you and your computer partner bid against two computer opponents, and then play the hand. Your goal, naturally, is to get the highest score possible. The game lets you save the game in progress, gives you helpful hints, and can play the entire hand automatically for you. Quite fun and educational, though too limited in scope to be really useful for beginners. An editor would have been a welcome addition (so you can actually see how to play a specific hand). As it stands, Bridge 7.0 is a useful tool for bridge players who already know the basic rules of the game. Jigsaw Puzzlemania

Amiga 1989
Jigsaw Puzzlemania is a collection of more than a dozen jigsaw puzzles. The shapes of the puzzle pieces are randomly cut and it is possible to choose from six different sizes before starting a game. The smallest contain only 16 pieces while the largest and most challenging contain 238 pieces. The game can be played solo or in two-player multiplayer. There are two multiplayer modes: a team-based one, in which two players solve a puzzle together, and a competitive mode in which they play against each other. Both are turn-based and hot-played. Each player has a set amount of time to add as many pieces as possible until the other player gets their chance. This continues until the puzzle is completed. In addition to the puzzles included in the game, it is also possible to create new puzzles by uploading the player's own images.
