DOS Quadraz

DOS 1996
This tile puzzle game is the precursor of the author's later creation, Quadromania. The 10x10 board consists of tiles that can go through 5 different states. Clicking on a tile also changes the eight neighboring tiles; squares at the edge of the board, which are not surrounded by eight tiles, cannot be clicked. The computer messes up the board and the goal is to return it to its original state (all gray tiles) without making too many moves. There are five levels of difficulty, which determine the amount of vandalism inflicted on the board at the start of the game: higher levels require more moves to resolve.

Rocks

DOS 1997
Rocks is a clone of Asteroids. Like the arcade hit, you find yourself inexplicably trapped in a rectangular region of space that rotates on its four sides, populated by successive waves of asteroids that are flung in random directions. Spin and thrust controls allow your ship to traverse the playing field, equipped with a forward blaster to dispatch errant chunks of space rock. You can also brake to restrict your inertial movement. The explosion of a large rock causes it to split in two, and so do the resulting fragments, until the smaller pieces are removed. Each consecutive wave brings more asteroids into play, and occasionally a suspiciously square alien ship will drop in to threaten you as well.
