Ballons & Rainbows 5.0

DOS 1992
From the manual: This program draws a balloon and sounds a tone when any key is pressed. The balloons are of random size and color and are drawn at random locations on the screen. Each key is assigned a different tone (the user can play melodies by pressing the corresponding keys). When the down arrow key is pressed, the globe shrinks until it disappears. If the up arrow key is pressed, the balloon grows until it bursts. After the burst, a rainbow is drawn and the first phrase of 'Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star' plays.

Balloons

DOS 1994
Balloons is a very simple game aimed at very young children with the goal of teaching them that computers can be fun. The game is as simple as the player presses a key and the game draws a balloon of random color and size. All the keys make a sound when pressed, so playing simple melodies is an activity the child can do. The child can also use the up and down arrow keys, pressing the DOWN ARROW makes the balloon shrink, while the UP ARROW makes the balloon grow and eventually pop, emitting a sound and releasing a beautiful rainbow. On systems with EGA and VGA monitors, pressing the G,B,R,Y,W keys gives the colors green, blue, red, yellow or white BalloonsOn systems with CGA monitors, pressing the Y, G, R keys gives the colors yellow, green or red Balloons
