The story begins a long time ago in a land far away where an evil wizard reigned, causing death, misery and destruction to its inhabitants. Fed up with this situation, the people called a good wizard and asked him to bring a great warrior to defeat the evil one. The result is that the wizard opens a portal to the present through which he attracts the player and, after explaining the task at hand, takes him to the Castle of Deception to explore and fight.
