Developed by the indie studio of Paragon Software, this title stood out for its whimsical graphics and engaging gameplay. Set in a vibrant world brimming with quirky characters and intricate puzzles, Rusty invites players to embark on a journey filled with a charming mix of humor and challenge.
The premise revolves around a fearless little robot named Rusty, who finds himself on a mission to rescue his creator from the clutches of malevolent adversaries. Players navigate through various environments, ranging from lush forests to gloomy caves, all while interacting with a host of eccentric characters. The game skillfully employs a point-and-click interface, allowing users to examine objects, collect items, and engage in conversations that often yield valuable clues. This intuitive mechanic proved to be essential in immersing players into the captivating narrative intrinsic to Rusty's universe.
One of the standout features of Rusty is its delightful art style that showcases bright, colorful graphics, evocative of the era's aesthetic trends. The meticulously designed sprites imbue the characters with a lively essence that resonates with players. Each scene is thoughtfully crafted, contributing to the overall enchanting ambiance of the game. Moreover, the whimsical soundtrack enhances the whimsical narrative, subtly guiding players through the emotional landscape of Rusty's quest while also providing an engaging backdrop for exploration.

Despite being a lesser-known title in the vast library of 90s DOS games, Rusty has garnered a loyal fanbase over the years. Nostalgic players often remember it fondly for its distinctive blend of humor, art, and engaging gameplay mechanics. The game represents a noteworthy example of how indie developers of that time pushed the boundaries of creativity, crafting experiences that would resonate with audiences long after their initial release. In retrospect, Rusty is not simply a game; it stands as a delightful reminder of a golden era in video gaming that celebrated innovation and whimsical storytelling.
Virgin Dream
A 'Pretty Girl Contest' is held, which is more than just a normal beauty contest: in one year, a young girl must become a star. Beauty matters, but so does skill. As the representative of one of the young girls who wants to participate in the contest, the player has to do everything in his power to achieve the goal, and help the disciple to reach stardom!
Virgin Dream is what is commonly called a life simulation, a genre popularized by games such as the Princess Maker series. The player manages the young girl's life with a specific goal in mind, which must be chosen from the main menu. The girl can aspire to become a singer, a photo model, a school teacher, etc. The player then tries to modify her statistics accordingly to achieve the goal.
The main workday activities are divided into three groups: training, working and learning. The learning category is the smallest, but it is also necessary to continue the girl's normal school life. Training includes singing, arts, bodybuilding, sports, etc. There are part-time jobs as a waitress, cook, private tutor and even construction worker; the pay varies greatly, but so do the changes in parameters.
On vacation, the girl can venture out and explore the city from top to bottom, which contains various stores, boutiques, offices, etc. Clothes and other accessories can be purchased. It is also possible to talk and socialize with other girls, potential rivals, who live in the same dormitory. All this influences the parameters of the heroine, for better and for worse.
