Total Annihilation
Total Annihilation is a real-time strategy game set in a science fiction environment, released in 1997 by Cavedog Entertainment. It is considered one of the first games of its genre to feature 3D graphics, and its success prompted the development of two expansion packs and a spiritual successor, Supreme Commander.
The game's plot revolves around two warring factions, the Core and the Arm. The player controls one of these factions and must defeat the other through a combination of resource gathering, base building, and military force.
Total Annihilation features a unique game mechanics that allows for a high degree of unit customization.
