Leeds United is a terribly bad soccer management game from German developer CDS. Like many games of this type, the game depicts the rise (and fall?) of an English team as it struggles to climb the competitive ladder. Unlike most other games, you can't leave Leeds United in this one, although you can try to buy players from other clubs if you don't like your team. With primitive graphics, illogical results and very simplistic gameplay, it's no wonder the game sold so poorly that it remains very obscure to this day. If you're a diehard Leeds fan who must own everything with their name on it, then you might want this Real Dog. If not, stick with the cream of the crop of games like Championship Manager.

The game was developed by Krisalis Software and published by Audiogenic Software. It differs from similar titles of the era such as Kick-Off 2 and Sensible Soccer by incorporating bits of puzzle and managerial elements into the traditional playing style. At its core, Leeds United Champions! is a turn-based, top-down soccer game. Players can control one of a number of professional teams on the field at a time. The main objective is to win a match by using various offensive and defensive tactics. Players have the ability to choose which player on the team to use, as well as when to pass, shoot, dribble, and tackle.
