Robin Smith's International Cricket
Despite being a successful cricketer at the time, Robin Smith licensed a management game. Playing against the computer, you can play a single match or a series of 3 or 5 one-day matches as one of the top 7 international teams. These matches can last between 40 and 60 overs per side.
First, you must choose your team from 11, based on their batting, bowling and wicket-keeping skills. A coin toss decides who bats first, after which you choose your tactics for the next over, depending on the weather and pitch conditions. The bowling part has 9 field layouts to choose from.
The action is depicted from a top-down view of the entire field, with a running commentary on the results of each hit, showing what type of shot was hit, who placed the ball and how many runs were scored.
