Avenger

Avenger was first released in 1982 by Commodore 64, making a huge impression in the world of video games. It was an incredibly ambitious project, created by a small company with only three members. The game tasked its players with solving mysteries inside an alien spaceship. Gamers had to guide their avatar (a green "hero") through obstacles and dangers, while collecting clues and deciphering codes. Each move the player made required thought and calculation; with some wrong moves resulting in death or capture. It was a difficult task to survive and make progress toward solving the mysteries of the spaceship. Avenger offered players the chance to customize their own games, offering multiple pathways and surprises along the way. Its groundbreaking use of sound and graphics, combined with its nonlinear approach, made it a hit with gamers at the time. Its audio and visual elements were unlike any other experience, creating an atmospheric and suspenseful landscape. On top of its audio-visuals, Avenger had plenty of fun gaming elements to keep players engaged. Its Challenging puzzles and weapon upgrades kept players busy, trying to master the alien ship and everything it had to offer. With more than 25 levels to progress through, the game remained entertaining and fresh long after its release. In its day, Avenger was a massively popular game, drawing players from all around. It stands as an iconic example of Commodore 64’s great success, and its lasting influence in the world of gaming. It showed the potential of the newly-developed consoles, and had created an immersive gaming experience that influenced countless other titles.

Dancing Monster

A beautiful princess has been turned into an ugly monster by an evil Wizard and, to make matters worse, she has been forced to dance forever in this single-screen first-person perspective game. You are sworn to help her by removing her hideous body parts, piece by piece, as she dances across the screen. The top left of the screen tells you the next body part to remove, and to do so you move a crosshair and try to shoot her with a magic ray. A clock counts up and you have to eliminate all the parts before it reaches a certain time. There is also a decreasing indicator and if you don't shoot before it empties, it's game over. If you shoot your beam too many times without hitting the correct part then a new part reappears.

Greenhouse

Grow flowers in the Greenhouse. Make sure they get enough water and dig up the weeds before they take over the Greenhouse:) Watch out for the bee in the later levels.

Super Blitz

Super Blitz is a one-key arcade game, similar to Air Attack. The player is the pilot of a light bomber plane that is running out of fuel. His only hope is to level the city so the plane can land. Bonus points are awarded for landing, or for obliterating King Kong as he climbs a skyscraper. It is a one-key game, which means that you cannot steer the plane. It is only possible to drop bombs by pressing the space bar (or joystick button). The plane moves from left to right across the screen, descending slightly each time it returns to the left side. The lower the plane flies, the more urgent it is to aim for the higher skyscrapers. There are two additional gameplay elements compared to 1979's Air Attack. The first is a large gorilla walking from right to left, which will climb any skyscraper that is high enough as long as it is isolated. He can only be bombed when he is climbing a building. Second, there is a large white cloud floating around, but it does nothing except obscure the view when the plane flies through it, making it harder to aim at the buildings below.
