You play Jack Carver, a charter boat entrepreneur in Micronesia, tasked with escorting Valerie Cortez, an ambitious journalist, to the island of Cabatu. Next thing you know, someone has blown up your boat (and with it, everything you owned in the world), kidnapped Valerie and left you for dead.
