Missiles over Xerion
The crisis began in the year 2110. An alien biological weapon, christened 'Armageddon' by the priests, wiped out all but 2000 humans, farmers and prisoners hiding in Xerion, the planet's golden city.... Luckily that city also has an experimental plasma cannon, as an alien invasion is expected.
Missiles over Xerion is a variant of Missile Command, in which the player has to defend the named city. Released later in the life of Amigas, many options and convenience features, such as a built-in trainer menu, are added to the old original game, but without basically changing the gameplay itself.
You can equip Xerion, the town to defend, to the extent that you have earned the money for it. You can buy weapons, such as nuclear or heavy metal missiles, different types of bombs or expand the town buildings such as with increased energy storage, faster energy recharge or faster firing of the main cannon. The city is not divided into several individual buildings, but as a whole. In addition, if there is enough energy, a shield protects the city. Different types of enemies attack in waves, some dropping bombs, others attacking the city directly.
As a bonus, the game disc contains Kingsoft's 1987 game City Defense, another Missile Command game.
